This week my husband handed over a wine bottle (he's finally learned never to throw glass jars and bottles out knowing I will re-purpose them) and I quote said, "Here, can you make something cool with this?" Um, ok..

I kid you not, about 5 minutes later my wine bottle soap dispenser was sitting pretty on my counter. This has to be one of the easiest wine bottle craft ideas around.
I started by removing the back label. I decided to keep the front label for a little extra character. Because I did I painted a layer of mod podge matte over it to seal it and protect it from water. A little of the mod podge got on the glass so I just wiped it off quickly with a paper towel. You don't have to, but if you don't remove the excess the glass that's covered with mod podge will look cloudy and smudgy when it dries.
I dug through my kitchen junk drawer and found this cork bottle top pourer thingy and it fit perfectly on the bottle. If you don't happen to have a win cork bottle pourer stuffed in the back of a drawer, you can buy them for a few dollars on Amazon.
Obviously, I poured the liquid soap into the bottle before I capped it. The soap had a hard time getting through the top, so I just added a little water to thin the soap and now it pours out great.
That's it - instant wine bottle soap dispenser.
As always, thanks for stopping by 2IY. If you like what you see we'd love for you to share it by pinning it.
